   Assistant Principal     Jennifer C. Rucker

Welcome to Comanche Elementary School...

My name is Jennifer C. Rucker, and  I am the Assistant Principal of Comanche Elementary School for the 2017-2018 school year.   I previously served as the Counselor here at Comanche Elementary School from 2011-2015, and absolutely loved that experience.

Personal Information:  My husband, James, and I have lived here in Comanche County most of our lives.  We are both educators and love working with kids.  We have two children Joshua and Jaxson.   When I'm not working, I enjoy watching my boys participate in activities and spending quality time doing things outdoors with my family.

Education/Qualification:  I received a Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Tarleton State University in 2010.   I am a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (licensed through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists).  I am also a Certified Principal and School Counselor (Grades EC-12) (certified through the Texas State Board of Educator Certification).

Professional Goal/Vision:   I aim to create a positive, caring, and stimulating learning environment for all students, staff, and administrators; involving parents and community members in the education of our students to the greatest extent possible.  It is my desire that this effective learning environment will provide all children the opportunity to recognize and achieve their fullest potential and become a positive contribution to society.

I am personally looking forward to be another great school year here at Comanche Elementary School...  Please let me know if there is ever anything that I can do to help you.   My door is always open...
